Professional training in Reflexology

Oxford School of Reflexology has run courses providing full professional preparation for reflexology practice since 1987, with accreditation by the Association of Reflexologists since 1991.

At the present moment, reflexology qualifications in the UK are being overhauled, with a new common framework being introduced. That work is in progress, and as a result OSR is taking a temporary break from running training courses until it becomes clearer which qualification route will offer students the best training in reflexology.

We have seen many revisions to standards and regulations over the years we have been teaching, and we are optimistic that the current changes will eventually be of benefit to the profession as a whole - in particular by finally providing a common definition and recognised standard for a "qualified reflexologist". But for the time being, the eventual shape of the qualification remains unclear, so we do not wish to enrol students on a course with an outcome that is less than certain.

OSR is still open for business: we are still running short "post-graduate" courses for therapists. This means that if you are interested in training, you can come and visit at any time, even if we do not have any upcoming course dates. Feel free to get in touch to arrange a visit.
